I was enjoying a beautiful warm February day walking across Central Park. I was thinking about how much those new condos would cost. What I didn’t know was that it was the last time I would see my friend I was off to have drinks with on the East Side. Life is short. Enjoy the moments.

The sign is clear: Low Bridge. This does not stop trucks from trying to pass through here and having the tops of the truck ripped open. The bridge is affectionately known as the “KK Can Opener.” (Milwaukee, Wisconsin, 2023)
