I have been down to Kenosha a few times in recent weeks. The lighthouse was purchased in 2011 and is privately owned. Living on the harbor was always beautiful–days like these were especially so. One of my favorite bridge walk is the one over the East River across the Brooklyn Bridge. It opened in 1883 and goes from Brooklyn to lower Manhattan. I marvel at the the bridge towers and the suspension of the auto and pedestrian decks. (New York, New York, 2000)
