  • In the Round (or at least the oval)

I was back in Columbus for a conference and I had to sneak into the classroom I took statistics in. It was memorable for a number of reasons (the instructor was a doppelgänger for Jim from the show Taxi), but I remember that because the classroom was oval I could hear my classmates whispering across…

  • From There to Here

In case you were wondering where we went after yesterday’s post. Baker hall is one of those interesting buildings that is almost impossible to get a shot of the whole building because of the landscape and surrounding buildings. This is about the best I could do. (Columbus, Ohio, 2019)

  • I Was Able to Get Work Done

I had a series of offices with terrific views–aside from the view it was quiet and comfortable. I got a lot of work done here. (Kenosha, WI, 2018)

  • Autumn Surprise

I walked into class one day and as I was setting up for lecture I looked up and saw that the trees had exploded in color (Carthage College, 2018)
