Over the years I have taken thousands of photos. There are some I really like. Although I have printed a few for the walls of my home, there are many that deserve to see the light of day. This is the place. Most of the images are mine, some are taken by my wife. A few have been given or sent to me by others. Where I can remember I will give attribution and a date. I will appreciate a suggestion for attribution if you have one.
This is not a “trophy case” of places I’ve been or seen, although at times it may seem that way. I don’t have a “bucket list” of places that I need to accomplish or catalog. I think the phrase is limiting because so much of my travel is decided on just weeks or months before I hit the road, if I had a list it would hold me back. I like the ordinary and the extraordinary. Sometimes you can’t help it–you are at an extraordinary place–time for a photo. However I also like the ordinary spaces where people live and work. You will see both here.
