National Pizza Day is one of the few “contrived holidays” that I celebrate. It brings together everything I love: bready goodness, good sauce, cured meats, vegetables, and cheese. The best part is sharing it with others–enjoy a pizza with someone today. (San Jose, Costa Rica, 2026)
